Use 30c or 200c potency unless otherwise noted. If mild, dosing 2–3 times a day may be enough.  For more intense symptoms, dose every 1–2 hours in the beginning. Pause once improvement is noticed and resume if symptoms return.

Gelsemium
One of the most common flu remedies. The child or adult is weak, droopy, tired, with heavy eyelids and a slow onset of symptoms. Chills up the spine, trembling, and a desire to lie down and be left alone. Think sleepy flu.

Eupatorium Perfoliatum
Body aches that feel like the bones are breaking. Severe muscle and bone pain, especially in the back or legs. Chills followed by intense fever. Great thirst. Often used when the flu feels “deep in the bones.”

Bryonia
For a dry cough and body pain that’s worse with movement. The person may be grumpy, irritable, and want to lie completely still. Thirsty for big gulps. Symptoms are worse with motion, light, or noise.

Oscillococcinum
While not a classical single remedy, it’s a popular one used at the very first sign of flu, chills, body aches, headache. Especially helpful when taken as soon as symptoms appear.
